John Ira Ames 
John Ira was born on May 2nd, 1873 in Garwood,Washington Co,Pennsylvania.1 John Ira's father was Arthur Amer Ames and his mother was Maria Griffith. His paternal grandparents were John Ames and Mary Thompson. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Johnnie, Arth Amer Jr, U S Grant, Sarah Martha, Ella Mae, Anna and Nora. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 93 on January 15th, 1967 in Ruffs Dale,Westmoreland Co,Pennsylvania.1 -
