Catharine Ames

Catharine was born about 1830 in Pennsylvania. Catharine's father was Martin Ames and her mother was Hannah UNKNOWN. Her paternal grandparents were Jabez Ames and Elizabeth Smith. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John W, Nathaniel F, William S, James, Candius, Mary, Sabrina, Hannah and Jane. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
