Robert de Beaumont 4th Earl of Leicester 
Robert was born about 1168.1 Robert's father was Robert 'Crusader' de Beaumont [Earl Leicester] and his mother was Petronilla de Grentmesnil. His paternal grandparents were Robert II de Beaumont Earl of Leicester and Amice Gael; his maternal grandparents were Hugh de Grentmesnil II Lord Grentmesnil and Adelhyde de Gaunt. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Robert, William de, Robert de, Roger de, Geoffrey de, Pernel de, Amicie, Amice, Margaret de, Mabel de and Hawise de. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died in October 1204.1 -
