Margaret was born about 1385 in of Upholland,Lancashire,England. Margaret's father was Thomas II d'Holland Earl of Kent and her mother was Lady Alice FitzAlan of Arundel. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas I d'Holland Earl of Kent and Joan Princess of England [Countess of Ke; her maternal grandparents were Richard "Copped Hat" Fitzalan [EARL OF ARUNDEL and Eleanor Plantagenet [COUNTESS OF ARU. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas III, Edmund, Eleanor, Margaret (of Kent), Joan and Elizabeth. She died on December 30th, 1439 in St. Saviour's Monastery,Bermondsey,Surrey,England.
