Hermann II Duke of was born in 0950 in Schwaben,Bavaria.1 Hermann II Duke of's father was Conrad I Duke of Swabia and his mother was Jutta of MARCHTAL. His paternal grandparents were Udo of the Wetterau and Kunigunde de Vermandois; his maternal grandparents were Adalbert, Count of MARCHTAL and Daughter of Ulrich V Count of Argengau. He had two brothers named Konrad II and Konrad III, Graf in. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 53 on May 4th, 1003.2 General Notes
