Princess Gertrud zu Supplingenburg Duchess of Austria 
Gertrud zu was born on April 18th, 1115 in <Supplingenburg,Braunschweig,Brunswick,Lower Saxony, Thüringia>.1 Gertrud zu's father was Lothaire Carolingians Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and her mother was Richensa of Northeim. Her paternal grandparents were Luitpold II the Good von Babenberg, Margrave of Austria and Ida, Countess of Cham; her maternal grandparents were Heinrich Von Northeim and Gertrud von Braunschweig. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Siegfried of and Hedwig Countess Of. She died at the age of 27 on April 10th, 1143.1 General Notes
