Walter de was born about 1233 in ,Petworth,Sussex,England.1 Walter de's father was Sir. William de Percy Baron and his mother was Eleanor de Balliol. His paternal grandparents were Henry I de Percy Sheriff of Northumberland and Isabel Brus; his maternal grandparents were Ingelram (Ingram) (Balliol) De Baliol and Agnes de Berkeley. He had seven brothers named Ingelram de, William de, Henry De, Josceline de, Geffrey de, Richard de and Alan de. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had five half-sisters named Anastace, Joane de, Alice de, Agnes de and Ada de. He died on November 2nd, 1271.2 -
