Archibald de Douglas Earl of Douglas 
Archibald de Douglas was born in 1297. Archibald de Douglas' father was William "le Hardi" de Douglas Lord Douglas and his mother was daughter de Keith. His paternal grandfather was Andrew of Hermiston de Douglas. He had two brothers named James Douglas "the Black Douglas" and Hugh Douglas the Dull. He had three half-brothers named James of Lothian, Andrew of Cresswell and James. He died at the age of 36 on July 19th, 1333 in Battle of Halidon Hill,near Dunse,Scotland.General Notes
