Archibald de Douglas Sir

Archibald was born about 1198 in of Hermiston,Midlothian,Scotland.  Archibald's father was William de Duglas and his mother was daughter of Moray Kersdale.  His paternal grandfather was Theobald le Fleming. He had five brothers and a sister, named Hugh de Douglas, Alexander Canon of Spynie, Freskin Dean of Moray, Henry Canon of Spynie, Brice de Douglas and Margaret.  He died in 1240.

They had two sons named William "Longlegs" and Andrew of Hermiston.
