Philippa was born on March 31st, 1360 in Lancaster,Leicester,England. Philippa's father was John "Of Gaunt" of England and her mother was Blanche Plantagenet of Lancaster. Her paternal grandparents were Edward III, King England and Philippa Hainault; her maternal grandparents were Henry Duke of Lancaster Plantagenet and Isabel De Beaumont. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Edward, Henry Plantagenet IV King of, Philippa of, Elizabeth and Isabel. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named John, John, John (1st Earl of Somerset), Henry, Thomas, Catherine of, Joan, Joan De and Blanche. She died at the age of 55 on July 19th, 1415 in Sacavem,Lisboa,Portugal.General Notes
