Thomas de Clare 
Thomas was born about 1245 in of Thomond,Connaught,Ireland. Thomas' father was Richard de Clare and his mother was Maud De Lacy. His paternal grandfather was Gilbert de Clare; his maternal grandparents were John De Lacy and Margaret De Quincy. He had two brothers and a sister, named Gilbert "The Red", Thomas and Roese. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died on August 29th, 1287 in ,Clare,Ireland.General Notes
He was loyal to King Henry III, and helped Prince Edward to escape captivity after he had been captured at Lewes.
