Eleanor de Clare 
Eleanor was born in November 1292 in ,Gloucestershire,England. Eleanor's father was Gilbert "The Red" de Clare and her mother was Joanna "Of Acre" of England. Her paternal grandparents were Richard de Clare and Maud De Lacy; her maternal grandparents were Edward I, "Longshanks" Plantagenet King of England and Eleanor de Castilla. She had a brother and two sisters, named Gilbert II, Margaret and Elizabeth. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Thomas, Joan, Isabel and Mary. She died at the age of 44 on June 30th, 1337 in ,Gloucestershire,England.General Notes
Name also spelled Alianore. She was co-heir of her brother Gilbert. At his death at the Battle of Bannockburn, she inherited one-third of the Estate, the title to which went to her husband. She was age 13 at her marriage.
