Humphry IV, Constable of England de Bohun 
Humphry IV, Constable of England was born in 1143 in Gloucester,England.1 Humphry IV, Constable of England's father was Sir Humphry III, Dapifer to Henry I de Bohun and his mother was Margaret de Pîtres of Gloucester. His paternal grandparents were Humphrey II the Great de Bohun and Mahaut de Salisbury de Evereux; his maternal grandparents were Miles de Pîtres of , Earl of Hereford Gloucester and Sybil de Neufmarche. He was an only child. He died at the age of 39 in 1182 in (prob) France.2 General Notes

Arnaud-Bellee, 1978: According the the chronicle of Lanthony, Humphrey IV was earl of Hereford and constable of England. But he died before his father, probably in 1182 in France while serving Henry the younger, so he never had the titles. Humphrey was married to Margaret of Scotland (who died 1201), daughter of Henry, earl of Huntington, and sister of King William the Lion of Scotland, and widow of Conan le Petit, earl of Brittany and Richmond (who died 1171). After Humphrey's death, his widow confirmed the gift of a marketplace to the priory of Bradenstoke that he had specified in his will.
