Siegfried I was born in 0947. Siegfried I's father was Lothar II of Walbeck and his mother was Godila von Rothenburg. His paternal grandparents were Lothar II Count of Stade and Swanhilde Hamaland; his maternal grandfather was Werner Von Rothenburg. He had a brother and a sister, named Lothar III and Heilika (Eila) , Countess of Walbeck. He had seven half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Lothar IV, Heinrich II, Graf von, Bernhard of, Hermann III Graf von, Hermann of VII, Henry II Von, Bernard III, Mathilde von, Mathilde of and Mathilde Countess Of. He died at the age of 61 on March 15th, 1008.-
