His paternal grandparents were Lothar II of Walbeck and Godila von Rothenburg; his maternal grandfather was Werner Von Rothenburg. He had eight half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Heinrich II, Graf von, Bernhard of, Hermann III Graf von, Hermann of VII, Siegfried I, Lothar III, Henry II Von, Bernard III, Mathilde von, Mathilde of, Heilika (Eila) , Countess of Walbeck and Mathilde Countess Of. He died in 1033.-
