Philip II Virneburg

Philip II was born about 1278 in Virneburg,Rhineland,Prussia.  Philip II's father was Henry I Virneburg and his mother was Ponzette Oberstein.  His maternal grandfather was Eberhard III Von Oberstein. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Rupert II, Frederick, Eberhard, Henry, Werner, Matilda, Aleidis Countess, Margaret, Imagine, Lise, Ponzette, Jutte and Elisabeth.  He was the second youngest of the fourteen children.

‌Philip II were married in a religious ceremony in 1305.
