Elisabeth Virneburg

Elisabeth was born about 1279 in Virneburg,Rhineland,Prussia.  Elisabeth's father was Henry I Virneburg and her mother was Ponzette Oberstein.  Her maternal grandfather was Eberhard III Von Oberstein. She had six brothers and seven sisters, named Rupert II, Frederick, Eberhard, Henry, Werner, Philip II, Matilda, Aleidis Countess, Margaret, Imagine, Lise, Ponzette and Jutte.  She was the youngest of the fourteen children.
