William De Lusignan Valence 
William De Lusignan was born after 1225 in Pembroke,Pembrokeshire,England.1 William De Lusignan's father was Hugh X De Lusignan and his mother was Isabella Of Angouleme Taillefer. His paternal grandparents were Hugh IX De Lusignan and Agatha de Preuilly; his maternal grandparents were Aymer De Taillefer and Alix De Courtenay. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Hugh XI De, Geoffrey De, Guy De, Aymer Ademar De, Alice Le Brun De, Marguerite De, Agatha Agnes De and Isabella De. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Henry III, Richard , Earl of Cornwall and Poitiers, Prince of England, Earl of Cromwell, Joan, Princess of, Isabel Princess Of and Eleanor Princess Of. He died before May 18th, 1296 in Slain In Battle In France. He was buried in Westminster Abbey.1 General Notes

Earldom of Pemborke: Nevertheless Henry III's half-brother William de Valence, who married a niece of these last five [all sons of William Marshal, who died dspl] Earls of Pembroke, is sometimes referred to by contemporary sources as Earl of Pembroke. His Aspirations in that direction were promoted by the fact that Henry III had presented him with Pembroke Castle. In addition de Valence's widow Joan by dint of usage, plus inheritance of the feudal Lordship of Pembroke, came to be known as Countess of Pembroke. And their son, Aymer de Valence, who was no more formally created Earl of Pembroke than his father had been, was nevertheless coming to be generally recognized as Earl of Pembroke by some ten years after his father's death.
