Paul I Thorfinsson Jarl of was born in 1038 in Orkney,Scotland.1 Paul I Thorfinsson Jarl of's father was Thorfinn II Sigurdsson and his mother was Ingibiorg Finnsdoittir. His paternal grandparents were Sigurd II Hlodversson and Anleta "Thora Donada" MACKENNETH; his maternal grandparents were Finn Arnesson and Bergljot Halfdansdoittir. He had five brothers and a sister, named Bardolf, Erland II, Erland, Bardolf, Erlend II Thorfinnson and Margaret. He had six half-brothers named Duncan II King of, Heth, Maocolm, Donald, Donald and Malcolm. He died at the age of 60 in 1098 in Bergen.1 General Notes
