Margaret of was born about 1191 in Of,Huntingdon,Huntingdonshire,England. Margaret of's father was David of Scotland and her mother was Maud Meschines. Her paternal grandparents were Henry of Scotland and Ada De Warenne; her maternal grandparents were Hugh de Keveliock and Bertrade (Beatrix) Evreux de Montfort. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Robert De, Henry De, John Le, Isabelle, Matilda and Ada. She was the second oldest of the seven children.
