Her paternal grandparents were Thomas I d'Holland and Joan Princess of England; her maternal grandparents were Richard "Copped Hat" Fitzalan and Eleanor Plantagenet. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas III, Edmund, Eleanor, Joan, Margaret and Elizabeth.-
