Princess Elisabeth of was born in 1241.  Princess Elisabeth of's father was Count Lothar I of Are-Hostaden and her mother was Princess Mechtild of Vianden.  Her paternal grandparents were Dietrich III ARE-HOCHSTADEN and Liutgsrd Of Dagsburg. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Count Lothar II of, Archbishop Conrad of, Count Friedrich of, Princess Margarete of, Princess Jutta of, Princess Mechtild of and Princess Adelheid of.  She was the third youngest of the eight children.
