Charles Edgar was born on September 22nd, 1885. Charles Edgar's father was George W. Zike and his mother was Mariah Nan Taylor. His paternal grandparents were George W. Zike and Betty Ann Linville. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Alva Addison, Lewis Franklin, Fred Arthur, Wilbur Leslie, Emma Esther and Altha Lena. He was the second youngest of the seven children.General Notes
