Hester Ann was born on December 28th, 1859 in Shelby County, Indiana. Hester Ann's father was Thomas Wicker and her mother was Nancy Zike. Her maternal grandparents were David Zike and Catherine Smith. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William Tally, David, Thomas, Jasper Lincoln, George Anthony, Catherine, Sarah Ann, Dorothy, Elizabeth and Nancy Jane. She died at the age of 62 in 1921. She was buried in Liberty Cemetery, Shelby County, Indiana.-
