Cecil A. Silvers 
Cecil A. was born on August 2nd, 1910 in Somerset, Kentucky. Cecil A.'s father was Oscar Silvers and his mother was Jeannette Thompson. He was an only child. He died at the age of 83 on August 27th, 1993 in Bloomington Hospital, Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana. He was buried in Valhalla Memory Gardens, Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana.General Notes
Cecil A. Silvers, 83, of Bloomington, died Friday at Bloomington
Hospital.
Born Aug. 2, 1910, in Somerset, KY, he was the son of Oscar and
Jeannette (Thompson) Silvers. He was a quarry worker for 50 year and
retired from Maple Hill Quarry. He was a member of the Broadview Church
of Nazarene.
Survivors include his wife, Olive E. (Eads) Silvers; two daughters
Lois Ferree and Christina Mitchell, both of Bloomington; one son, Don
Silvers of Bloomington; two sisters Ruby Wilson of Bloomington and Hazel
East of Florida; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Clida Frank and Eva
Simpson; one brother, Hobert Silvers.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Allen Funeral Home with the
Rev. John A. Mohler officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory
Gardens.
Friends may call 3 - 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral
