Newton Scott 
Newton was born on December 9th, 1844. Newton's father was John Park Curtis Scott and his mother was Cynthia Dodds. His paternal grandparents were James Scott and Susannah Zike. He had a brother and three sisters, named Andrew, Elizabeth, Mary Jane and Emeline. He died at the age of 78 on May 21st, 1923. He was buried in Clearsprings Cemetery, Jackson Co., Indiana.-
