Ella Odell

Ella was born in 1859 in Owensburg, Greene Co, Indiana.  Ella's father was Sidney Stanhope Odell and her mother was Sarah Owens.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Odell and Nancy Walters; her maternal grandparents were John Owens and Anna Mason. She had a brother and eight sisters, named John Marshall, Nancy Ann, Mary Frances, Lucinda E., Eliza J., Sarah Josephine, Belle, Nora and Helen.  She was the third youngest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 83 in 1942 in Greene County, Indiana.  She was buried in Grandview Cemetery, Bloomfield, Indiana.

‌Ella and James H. were married in a religious ceremony on March 6th, 1879 in Greene County, Indiana.  They had two sons named Earl Nelson and Glen O'Dell.
