Lorenzo Dow was born in 1851. Lorenzo Dow's father was Lewis Linnville and his mother was Sarah Zike. His maternal grandparents were David Zike and Catherine Smith. He had six brothers and two sisters, named James M., Jasper N., Lewis F., George, Oliver Perry, John W., Nancy Ann and Hester Ann. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He was buried in Little Blue River Baptist Cemetery, Shelby Co., Indiana.-
