Hester Ann was born on January 12th, 1845 in Shelby County, Indiana. Hester Ann's father was Lewis Linnville and her mother was Sarah Zike. Her maternal grandparents were David Zike and Catherine Smith. She had seven brothers and a sister, named James M., Jasper N., Lorenzo Dow, Lewis F., George, Oliver Perry, John W. and Nancy Ann. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 79 on July 15th, 1924 in Shelby County, Indiana.-
