General Notes

Maude Clay, 85, 653 S. Rogers, Bloomington died Saturday morning at
her residence.
She was born Nov. 8, 1897 to Eli and Laura Seston Eads in Monroe
County.  She was a member of the West Second Street Church of Christ.
She was the widow of Merle D. Clay who died in 1951.  He was a
former Bloomington Chief of Police.
Surviving are two sons Marion E. and Paul E., both of Bloomington;
two daughters, Mrs. Barbara J. Campbell and Mrs. Gene (Margaret)
Trowbridge, both of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren, six great
grandchildren; two brothers, Dillon Eads of Bloomington and Doyl Eads of
Austin, TX, and two sisters, Mrs. Noble Waldrip of Bloomington and Mrs.
Edna Hendrix of New Mexico.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Greene . .
