Doyle E. Deckard 
Doyle E. was born on December 16th, 1931 in Monroe Co., Indiana. Doyle E.'s father was Henry Walter Deckard and his mother was Mabel Smith. His paternal grandparents were Sherman Deckard and Catherine Jane Conner; his maternal grandparents were Dalton "Dalty" J. Smith and Dessa Deckard. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Dale Richard, Stanley, Lloyd, Living, Leslie, Living and Living. He died at the age of 61 on August 7th, 1993 in Bloomington Hospital, Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana. He was buried in Burgoon Cemetery, Indiana.General Notes
Doyle E. Deckard, 61, of Bloomington, died Saturday at Bloomington
Hospital.
Born Dec. 16, 1931, in Monroe County, he was the son of Henry Walter
and Mabel (Smith) Deckard. He was a retired employee of P.B. Bell
Management Co. in Glendale AZ. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War,
and a member of American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include three sons, Dennis Deckard of Owensburg, Daniel
Deckard of Ellettsville and Doug Deckard of Bloomington; one daughter;
Denett Stybroski of Bedford; two brothers, Lloyd Deckard and Leslie
Deckard, both of Bloomington; two sisters, Margaret Johnson and Carolyn
Rehmel, both of Bloomington; nine grandchildren and one
great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Deckard and Dale
Deckard; one sister, Mildred Deckard; and two great-grandsons.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Deremiah - Frye Mortuary,
Green and Harrell Chapel, with Pastor Dan Cloud officiating. Burial will
be at Burgoon Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted
by the VFW and American Legion.
Friends may call 2 - 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Monroe County Cancer
