In the 1920 census, Charles was listed using his middle name Harry. He
lived at 2315 Union St. with his family and his father-in-law Anton
Angrick.
Harry was a steamfitter.
Funeral service:
C.F. Harry Boesche, 82 years old, 2315 Union Street, will be held at the
Lauck Mortuary and at 9 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, of
which he was a member. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Mr. Boesche died Friday in St. Francis Hospital. A native of Columbus,
Ind., he resided in Indianapolis 65 years.
He had worked for the Indianapolis Drop Froge Company 21 years, retiring
six years ago. Earlier, he had been employed by Eli Lilly & Co. for 10
years, Hayes Brothers Inc. for 20 years and the old Lieber Brewery seven
years.
Survivors inclue three sons, the Rev. Walfrid Boesche, OFM, Harbor
Springs, Mich., Charles F. Boesche of Indianapolis and Francis L. Boesche
of Plainfield; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Buchanan and Mrs. Bernard
Naughton, and two sisters, Mrs. Mae Marsh Williams and Mrs. Carl
Windisch, all of Indianapolis; 11 grand-children and one great-grandchild.
