Buster Norman Angrick 
Buster Norman was born on June 30th, 1923 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Buster Norman's father was Karl Anthony (Charlie) Angrick and his mother was Alberta Meier. His paternal grandparents were Frank (Franz) Angrick and Rosa Lindenblatt. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Carl A., Raymond E., Frances Rosalie and Esther Amelia. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 54 on November 1st, 1977 in Grant, Marion Co., Indiana. He was buried on November 4th, 1977 in Lincoln Memory Garden Cemetery.General Notes
Norman was one of the 1st hero's in our family. He served with the U.S.
Army during WWII as a parachutist.
Shortly after D day while parachuting into France, he was captured.
Norman was taken prisoner of war to a prison camp in Germany.
As a prisoner of war, he was forced to repair railways in Germany with
little to eat, poor clothing, cold weather conditions, while suffering
himself and watching others suffer. He had difficulty recovering from
this trauma.
Norman married after returning home from the war and had 4 children.
Norman passed away November 1, 1977. The service was held November 4,
1977 with Father John O'Brian officiating. Burial served by
Royster-Askin-Sandrock Mortuary
