Madison W. was born in 1840 in Kanawha Co,WV. Madison W.'s father was George Hix. His paternal grandparents were David Hix and Mildred Huddleston. He had a brother and four sisters, named Milton H, Augusta, Missouri, Angelina Elizabeth and Mary E. He was the second oldest of the six children. Madison W. is no longer alive.-
