Oliver John was born on May 24th, 1914. Oliver John's father was Alfred Martin Erie and his mother was Jennie Dorthea Rudell. His maternal grandparents were John Aaron (Johan Aaron Johnson) Rudell and Anna Beatta Christianson. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Alton James, Loren Virgil, Cora Marian and Jane Dorothy. He was the second oldest of the five children.-
