Alton James Erie 
Alton James was born on December 9th, 1915. Alton James' father was Alfred Martin Erie and his mother was Jennie Dorthea Rudell. His maternal grandparents were John Aaron (Johan Aaron Johnson) Rudell and Anna Beatta Christianson. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Oliver John, Loren Virgil, Cora Marian and Jane Dorothy. He was the third oldest of the five children.-
