Denver Haskell, known as Hack, was born on August 8th, 1911 in Charleston,Kanawha,West Virginia. Hack's father was Frank Louis Dodd and his mother was Ida Ocly Jones. His paternal grandparents were James Alexander Dodd Jr and Permelia Ann Marshall. He had a sister named Beulah Ola. He was the older of the two children. He died due to Machine gun fire during WW II near Florence, Italy at the age of 32 on July 8th, 1944 in Florence,,,Italy. He was buried in Cedar Buttes Cem,Annis,Jefferson,Idaho.General Notes
