Jeremiah H Compton 
Jeremiah H was born in October 1757 in Brunswick,NJ and his baptism took place in 1772 in Long Run Creek,Botetort Co,Va. Jeremiah H's father was John COMPTON and his mother was Margaret (German Lady) Raemer. His paternal grandparents were Isselstyne Usselton COMPTON and Orchie Altje or BLUE BLAAW. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Stephen, Joseph, John, Elizabeth and Lydia. He was the oldest of the six children. He had a half-sister named Amy.
