William Bentley 
William was born on May 29th, 1735 in Westerly,Rhode Island. William's father was William Bentley and his mother was Bathsheba Greene. His paternal grandparents were William Bentley and Sarah Eldred. He had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas, James, Greene, Benjamin and Bathsheba. He was the oldest of the six children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named John, George, Caleb, Ezekial, Elizabeth, Tabitha, Ruhana and Mary.-
