James Bentley 
James was born about June 6th, 1739 in Richmond,Washington,RI. James' father was William Bentley and his mother was Bathsheba Greene. His paternal grandparents were William Bentley and Sarah Eldred. He had four brothers and a sister, named William, Thomas, Greene, Benjamin and Bathsheba. He was the third oldest of the six children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named John, George, Caleb, Ezekial, Elizabeth, Tabitha, Ruhana and Mary.-
