John Dowden 
John was born in 1705 in Prince George,Maryland. John's father was John Dowden and his mother was Esther Ashford. His maternal grandparents were Michael Ashford and Rachel Nevill. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Michael, Thomas, Elizabeth and Rachel. He died at the age of 67 on May 21st, 1772 in Frederick,Maryland.
They had five sons and six daughters, named Nathaniel, Fielder, John, Michael Ashford, Thomas P., Anna, Esther, Martha, Mary, Rebecca and Sarah.
