Esther Ashford 
Esther was born about 1680 in Maryland. Esther's father was Michael Ashford and her mother was Rachel Nevill. Her maternal grandparents were John Nevill and Johanna Porter. She was an only child.
Esther and John were married in a religious ceremony in 1694 in Queen Anne's Parish. They had three sons and two daughters, named John, Michael, Thomas, Elizabeth and Rachel.
