Lemuel Cooper

Lemuel was born on March 30th, 1818.  Lemuel's father was Henry Cooper and his mother was Lydia Elizabeth Posey. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin J., James, John S., Harry, Nancy Ann, Serena and Mahala.  He was the youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 59 on September 12th, 1877.

‌Lemuel and Roseanna were married in a religious ceremony on February 20th, 1844 in Wood County,WV.  They had five sons and four daughters, named James W., John M., Benjamin Franklin, Charles Wesley, Henry Morton, Lydia, Mary, Nancy D. and Wealthea.
