Martha Mahala Wells 
Martha Mahala was born on February 18th, 1844 in Albany, Mo.1 Martha Mahala's father was Uriah Wells and her mother was Susannah Carlock. Her maternal grandparents were George Osborn Carlock and Elizabeth Cox. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named George W., Samuel Arthur, Henry Carlock, John W., Uriah Winton, Abraham Jefferson, Hiram Warner, Infant Girl, Mary T., Sara Isabel and Rebecca Comfort. She died at the age of 71 on April 24th, 1915.1 -
