Hollie Emily was born on November 18th, 1895. Hollie Emily's father was William Pinkney Vaughn and her mother was Ardenia Elizabeth Sibley. Her maternal grandparents were John Sibley and Matilda Elizabeth Huey. She had four brothers and five sisters, named William Ivor, John Claborne, Merrell Edward, Howard Augusta, Jessie Lee, Bonnie Sue, Winnie Jewel, Hattie Frances and Mary Louvinia. She was the third oldest of the ten children.-
