Mehitable was born on June 6th, 1668 in Portsmouth, Newport, R.I..1 Mehitable's father was Peleg Tripp and her mother was Anne Sisson. Her paternal grandparents were John Tripp and Mary Paine; her maternal grandparents were Richard Sisson and Mary Freeman. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Job, Peleg, Richard, Priscilla, Anne, Sarah and Mary. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died after 1736.1 -
