William Little Stanback

William Little was born on August 2nd, 1845.¹   William Little's father was Presley N Stanback and his mother was Elizabeth Little.  His paternal grandparents were George Stanback and Elizabeth Ingram; his maternal grandparents were William Little and Elizabeth Steele. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named George, Thomas Francis, Presley, Walter Phillips, Jeremiah Franklin, John Little, Charles, Annie Elizabeth, Mary Jennings, Charlotte Elanor and Judith Steel.  He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 19 on September 19th, 1864 in Battle of Winchester.¹
