George Stanback

George was born on March 25th, 1842.¹   George's father was Presley N Stanback and his mother was Elizabeth Little.  His paternal grandparents were George Stanback and Elizabeth Ingram; his maternal grandparents were William Little and Elizabeth Steele. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named William Little, Thomas Francis, Presley, Walter Phillips, Jeremiah Franklin, John Little, Charles, Annie Elizabeth, Mary Jennings, Charlotte Elanor and Judith Steel.  He was the third oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 22 on May 30th, 1864 in Spotsylvania Court Houses.¹
