Gideon G W Shannon 
Gideon G W was born on June 4th, 1852.1 Gideon G W's father was Aaron R Shannon and his mother was Lucinda D Markin. His paternal grandparents were Amon Shannon and Lucreid Runes; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Markin and Francis Sumter. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas M, Henry Jefferson, Emily E, Mary M, Eliza Amanda and Francis Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the seven children.
