Martha Ellen Russell 
Martha Ellen was born on November 10th, 1856.1 Martha Ellen's father was Sanders Russell and her mother was Mary Brammer. Her paternal grandparents were John Russell and Hannah "Patience" Rankin; her maternal grandparents were James Brammer and Sarah Henderson Simmons. She had two brothers and five sisters, named John Calvin, William Alonzo, Rachel, Sarah Jane, Rosina, Virginia and Ida May. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Sanders, James F, Hetty Ann, Eliza P and Victoria.-
